I have roughly 20 users accessing email and internet through winroute proxy. Most mornings when I come in the service is down. When I try to get into dial up networking I either cannot get in or I get the following error message - RASSCPT.dll failed to initialise. I have to reboot and this solves the problem every time.
I downloaded NT4 service pack 6a but still have problems.
I get the following error messages in event viewer.
The Open Procedure for service "RemoteAccess" in DLL "rasctrs.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. Status code returned is DWORD 0.
The description for Event ID ( 2001 ) in Source ( rasctrs ) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): .
The open procedure for service "RemoteAccess" in DLL "rasctrs.dll" has taken longer than the established wait time to complete. The wait time in milliseconds is shown in the data.

Any suggestion or help would be appreciated
