I'm getting a Rasman error when I try to use dial-up. Its caused by event 20029 which says it can't find a specific file. The plug and play is active and the modem is installed. How do I reinstall RAS? Or is there something else I should try?
Thank you very much for your help.

RAS information, configuration, removal and re-installation can be accessed via the 'Services' tab on Control Panel's 'Network' icon.

if you feel you have to re-install RAS, make sure you remove it first.

by the way, was the modem working before or is it newly installed? if it's newly installed, make sure you've got it configured for either dial-out or both dial-in/out. the default setting is 'Dial-out Only' during installation. the 'Services' tab will tell you how it's set-up.

hope this helps. good luck!
