This problem is weird. I was trying to get my Dell Optiplex GX150 machine setup with Windows NT 4.0 when something happened to my desktop icons and any new icons I create on the desktop. Here is what is happening. The icon I want is displayed but on top of it is the graphic that is the icon for Services in the Control Panel. Even when I go to properties and pick a new icon that icon displays in the window as I want it but when I select OK on the desktop i get that icon with the Services icon on top. Have I activated some kind of weird option and this is supposed to happen. I logged on as Administrator and created a Desktop icon and the same thing happens. I just don't get it. Anybody have any ideas. As I said before the icon I select is there but with the icon that represents Services in the Control Panel plastered on top of it.

Click the Appearance tab, click Icon Spacing (Vertical) in the Item box, and then set the size of this item to 43. In the Item box, click Icon Spacing (Horizontal) , and then set the size of this item to 43. Click OK , and then restart your computer.
