NT 4.0, P166, 64 MB Ram. Installed Microsoft Explorer 5.5. Tried to run Service Pack 6a, I guess ME 5.5 is 128 bit, so I got error message telling me to load 128 bit version of SP6a. SP6a 128 bit wouldn't install. Uninstalled current SP6a. Mouse now freezes on NT start-up screen. Using 3 boot floppies tried repairing and re-installing. After repair and re-boot I get error message on blue start screen: HAL MPS MP Structure, Hal No MPS Table Found, Hal This Hall.dll requires version 1.1 system. Replace Hal.
If I try to re-install NT I get to the 3rd floppy then get error message Set-up unable to locate hard drive partition prepared by MS-DOS portion of set-up. When running MS DOS NT set-up, specify Temp drive supported by Windows NT.
Never had these problems before. Any ideas or solutions much appreciated.

I had similar errors at the blue screen (nt server 4) . My memory was bad. The memory would work in a win95 machine but not nt server 4 ( I tried 2 different nt server4 machines and neither liked that memory) . These things are so picky.
