Problem with removing old sound driver in Win NT 4.0

Hi,
Can someone tell me how to remove an old sound card driver from the Win NT 4.0?
For some reason, after I remove old sound driver and re-boot the system, the old driver keep coming back. Here is what I did...
--> --> and then remove all sound card related device and reboot.
Did I do anything wrong? Are there some other ways (hard ways) to remove it. Thanks in advance!!

Usually, if you went Start\Settings\Control Panel --> Multimedia\Devices, and removed all devices listed under Audio Devices, this should work. Check if your old sound driver had written itself down during installation in the autoexec.bat (root directory) or autoexec.nt (\%winntdir%\system32\).
