I have just had the unfortunate exercise of having to wipe my PC and reinstall NT, etc after its original set up some 6 years or so ago.
I have managed to re-install everything with the exception of my Canoscan 2700F scanner.
When NT boots up the scanner starts to fire up (so far so good). However, when installing the Canoscan software it comes up with "Error reading SCSI device". It install the drivers and checking SCSI Adaptors in the control panel clearly shows the drivers present.
However, the scanner does not show on my list of scanners (only the Flatbed does).
I know that when the Canoscan was first installed there were problems - but as far as I can recall this was actually due to a duff disk from Canon rather than anything else. Of course being 6 years ago my memory is a bit vague.
Any ideas welcome! Email me at Lorraine.h@virgin.net if you have any ideas how to get this working.

I located some drivers for your scanner. Try this URL and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. CFM Twain Drivers 7.0 for Windows "cfm7English.exe" (Windows - 4.5 MB)
