Comment: I have a problem getting Partition Magic 8.0 and/or Norton Ghost 9.0 on a windows NT machine. No matter how much space is free on the hard disk it always comes up with an error when running setup along the lines of 'you need at least 8000kb diskspace free to install this product' It's really infuriating, and it only happens on our NT machine. Looking at the specs, they are both supposed to run on NT, so any idea what the problem is? Reply: (edit)Not yet no, I thought as it was having the same error with two unrelated programs (Partiton Magic 8 was released before symantec bought it) it would be an NT problem? I'll check now though... AMD Athlon XP 1.8GHz 1GB RAM 120GB HDD SATA GeForce 4 Ti4600 128MB Nvidia nforce2 chipset w/ soundstorm Pioneer DVD/RW ABIT NF-7S Rev 2 Motherboard

Reply: (edit)I've had a look all over the net, and it doesn't seem to crop up. I saw instances of the error with OTHER software, and each solution was different and not really relavent to my issue. :-( AMD Athlon XP 1.8GHz 1GB RAM 120GB HDD SATA GeForce 4 Ti4600 128MB Nvidia nforce2 chipset w/ soundstorm Pioneer DVD/RW ABIT NF-7S Rev 2 Motherboard

Reply: (edit)Just installed PM8.01 on my NT4sp6a no problem. Using 2GB primary FAT partition, 128MB, 60GB, 800MHz. I do remember that PM8.00 had a bug, probably not yours though. Sorry i can't be of more help. Best
