I am having a little difficulty install my NIC in my computer. I am running Windows NT 4.0 workstation service pack 6. I am trying to install a 3Com 3C509B-Combo card (it is an ISA card). I got it installed (as far as teh drivers go), However, when I boot I notice is says something when the BIOS screen is up, something about a conflict (it goes away so fast I can't read it clearly). Also, when I look at the event viewer I see a red X and an error message: "Elnk35 has encounterd a conflict in resources and could not load. I am assuming that I have an IRQ conflict with another device. I am not used to Windows NT (there is now device manager) I have a utility that istalled with my NIC thelets you configure the card, and there is an IRQ setting, I am not sure if I change the IRQ if it would solve this problem what do you think?

You could use the 3COM Utilties to change the IRQ. Or, you could remove the card and insert it into another slot.
