Hi, in the past day I have had problems with one user printing from NT4 SP6 to a networked (LPR port, TCP/IP, Static IP) HP4050 printer. The first 5 or 6 jobs will print fine, then the printer will pause for a couple minutes, print another 5 or 6 jobs and pause again. This continues until all the jobs are finished. What the heck???

Is there anything I can do? Any registry change I have to make? I was told that this happened when we first went to NT years ago but that a registry fix was applied that allowed the computer to send more than 4 print jobs at a time to the printer.

I assumed SP6 would have this problem fixed. HELP! This is driving me crazy.

I would suggest upgrading the firmware on the JetDirect cards. You can get everything you need from HP.com
