I've got a dozen of print queues in my NT4 server. When a print job is getting stuck in one of the queues (this may be caused by spooling a several MB of large spool file, or paper jam, out of paper, etc), the other queues also then getting stuck.

You need to make sure that there is plenty of free disc space on the drive that the Print Spooler is using. By default this is normally the same drive as the one holding \winnt i.e. C:
To check exactly where the spoolfiles are open up Printers then select File->Server properties->Advanced and the path to the spool folder is show there.
By default it's on the \winnt drive so try to free up space by getting rid of any .dmp and .tmp files. If necessary uninstall any unneeded software. I've only got 300mb spare myself but fortunately only a dozen printers.
If you cannot free up plenty of space I would go into the print server properties as mentioned above and move the spool files to another drive. The system will demand a reboot so it's best down out-of-hours.
If you don't have sp6a applied get it on asap too.

The "Classic" answer to this is to: stop and restart the spooler service.
