Comment:

We use the logonserver variable in ntconfig.pol to redirect users to their appropriate policy file.
Well it just stopped working.

We have 8 DC's
3 NT 4
5 Win2k

ntconfig.pol contains all the machine accounts.

in each machine account is the redirection to it's appropriate policy.

eg...
%logonserver%\netlogon\xxxxxxxx.pol

If I place a DC in the place of logonserver then the policy is applied. The thing that gets me is this worked up until a week ago. Microsoft does not have a clue I've already burned a service call with them.

We figured it was AD stretching it's tenticals, but the 2000 GPO's are not being applied either,,, site, Domain, or OU. It doesn't matter what Workstation OS, 9x, NT, 2000, or XP...

We've tested them all...

is there anyone out there with a recomendation??? If so please email me.
