Comment: I would like to give a user permission to install software on their local machine. Right now the only way I know how is to make them a domain admin- is there another way to do it without giving them access to everything?

Reply: (edit)You can make them a "power user" on the local machine. That will only give them the right on that machine, and not the network. Chase
