Peachtree is running extremely slow on a network where the data is stored on an NT server and the program files are on each workstation (98 and 2K workstations). Peachtree runs fine on the server, but takes 30 seconds to load on desktops. Any suggestions on speeding this up??

Thank you very much!

Several thousand later we solved the problem of a slow Peachtree on a NT server. We restored an older Novell server and dedicated it to running Peachtree. We also upgraded to Peachtree 8.0, Additionally, we dumped our hub system and went to switched ports to the work stations. Runs very well now. Good luck. ps. from what I hear and have evidenced, Peachtree prefers novell.
BTW, we still have NT running other apps, but peachtree stations access both servers now as needed seamlessly.
