Hope one of you guru's can help.. Trying to share a printer connected to a NT workstation with two Win95 boxes. Logged in as domain admin, I can print just fine from the Win95 boxes. No matter what I try, I am still asked for a password for the printer share when I am logged in as the users. I have entered the users, admin, etc. passwords with no luck. Prompt appears using Net Neighborhood and "net use" command. Tried creating user accounts for the Win95 people on the NT box. What permissions am I missing on the users?

Try switching to user authentication, join the domain (I guess you must have one since you mentioned being logged on as a domain admin) with the 95 computers OR you might try the follwing syntax when connecting the share: domain\username password. Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the reply Jochen.... I tried "share: domain\username password" and returned:
Error 5 You do not currently have access to this file, the file may be marked read-only or it may be part of a shared resource such as a folder, named pipe, queue, semaphore. You can use the ATTRIB commmand to change read-only or try agin later...... Enter password for \\machine\user"
I was unaware that I needed to open permissions to any folder, file just to share a printer.
