Comment:

I picked up a used COMPAQ PROLANT machine with INTEL Pentium-PRO Processor from a swap meet market. It has NT 4.0 on it and when I boot it up its asking for a password, which of course I don't have. Is there a way to circumvent this? I need you help please.

Why bother? Unless it came with the NT cd you don't own the software and legally you can't use it.

You would be best off wiping the disks and reinstalling a OS that you own.
