Reply: Moin Mike, this site should help: http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/ however, I wouldn't ever change partitions without having saved before completely. And respect the max. partition size of 7.8 GB for the system/boot partition. mfG, Carl.

Reply: Carl gives excellent advice. I would add that you can resize from a 9x boot diskette running Pmagic so you aren't doing this from NT but under it. I would highly recommend backing up all data on e: and then deleting it from the drive before this move so you have the free space for resizing. This works fine. Restore when complete. But I would add that what you are planning is a temp fix and in a short amount of time you will need to consider other options. I would suggest considering adding another drive. You can move your pagefile and user directories to this new drive with no risk and increase your systems functionality/speed. MS recommends pagefile on a seperate drive then the OS for increased speed.
