I would like to have my NT4.0 ws with serv.6 have fat16, NTFS and Linux all installed on one 20GB IDE drive. Any ideas for the best method? thanks shaun

Hi ,
very simple.. take these steps: 1. install a 2GB fat 16 partition as the 1st partition. (this would allow access to the disk from any ver of microsoft os) 2. install winnt on this partition. 3. you may make a ntfs partition if you want one (its not a bad idea) ------- 4. ONLY NOW, install the linux. - linux can manage the dual boot between microsoft and linux. microsoft, can't. so if youll install the linux 1st, it would be gone.
* when installing the linux, tell it to install a lilo, and do it on the MBR.
