Out of virtual memory

I am running NT 4 on 16MB RAM and 150MB hd compressed. It has set to 17-71 MB VM and it is OK for while. But it is shown "out of virtual memory" error even with out any application running

ARE YOU KIDDING ME HERE..!!! 16mb of RAM..!!! Why are you running NT in the first place? Cuz that is your whole problem there. No ram means no run..!!!

I would say... first check the free space on your HDD and set the maximum size of your VM smaller than the free available space. I hope it will fix your problem. But.....why do you want run NT on a small disk?????

I would suggest running some great software called Windows 3.1. That'll solve your problem.
