I get the following message, "PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable. PXE-M0F: Exiting Landesk service agent II Operating system not found." what cable should I be checking and how do I go about checking the cable.

I am not an expert using PXE cards but I believe it is trying to find a server to load the software needed. A PXE network card is a bootable device and it looks for the network connection to download software to the client to run. So if it is asking you for a cable it wants a network cable connecting the workstation to the server either directly or via a hub. There are choices that appear when a client with a PXE card boots up - something like "Press N to boot from network" or "Press H to boot from hard drive". If there is nothing on the hard drive and you press "H" then you will get an error saying "No operating system found".
I had the same problem, and it was because i didn't set an active partition when i did FDISK on my hard drive. try to see if you have an active partition.
