Hi,

I don't know if anybody can help, but the following message appears when I try to start NT:

"Stop:c0000221 {bad image checksum} the image oleaut.dll is possibly corupt. Header checksum does not match the computed checksum"

Restart and set recovery options in system control pannel or the/CRASHDEBUG system start option.

I have tried to go back to a previous good menu, however this doesn't work. I do not know how to set recovery options in control pannel.

Ayd

Had the same problem after an install replaced the .dll - the solution is to replace the file using the NT repair process. See MS KB article Q164471
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q164/4/71.asp?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=1
Don't worry if you don't have an ERD - you can make one on another PC and edit appropriately. Good Luck!

I downloaded a program off a website and I tried to start it, but it said "OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. Program requires a newer version." What do I do? I tried to download it off the internet. I dont know how to use it. What do I do! I really need it.
