In office 2000, If I open word with a blank document and then go to File....Open and open a previously saved document, it loads the new document into another copy of word that it starts. This doesn't happen with excel 2000, just word. Office 2000 has had a full installation on a windows NT workstation pc with SP4 on it. Any ideas?
There might have been a corrupt file when doing the install or there after. You might want to remove O2K and then reinstall it plus there is a the first service pack out for O2K from Microsoft. I would suggest downloading SP1 for O2K also. I hope this helps you out. Keep Posting.....
