The drivers will install, they just won't load when I reboot.

PNY Verto Vanta Card, PCI, 128-bit, 16MB. NVidia chipset.

I have the CD. When I run the setup I am given a list of dozens of drivers. The only drive with either "Verto" or "Vanta" is the "Vanta / Vanta LT" so I chose that. The drivers load correctly, but when I reboot, I am back to the standard VGA.

just go to nvidia.com and download the drivers from there. Turn your AV off before running the setup. All of nvidia's drivers work for every one of their cards so just get the most current ones. Also, I see you are on NT4 SP6...is this SP6 or 6a?

The most common cause for drivers not loading is that they are not the correct ones for your card or your OS
