NT Virtual dos machine is running an dos based program app. When started on one machine it jumps cpu utilization to 100%, the network team here says re-image it (there fix to everything), other dos apps dont do it even ones that are more intensive. Any help troubleshooting would be appreciated cuz it saves me about 3 hours of installs while doing other things over pcanywhere. I gonna run network monitor and see if its looking for something its not finding... but after that I cant think of where else to go and im determined to fix the problem, tried restarting and reinstalling.

If you are running it in a separate VDM, check the priority allocation. The priority may be too high. The highest priority setting sets it to 100%, thus effectively blocking out all other programs. May be the installion program has set the priority to exclusive.
