Is there a possible way to copy (not restore) files/data from a DLT tape to the Hard drive using NTBackup? Or is there dos/NT command that can do that?

Have you tried running the restore but choosing a different location. I think NT will allow you to restore to a different location. Sounds like it would be the same as copying to a different location. Hope this helps...
