Hello. Does anyone know if it's possible to use ntbackup to backup from one drive to another on the same harddrive? If so how is this accomplished?? Appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, the version of NTBackup that ships with NT only allows you to backup to a tape device.

There may be other solutions out there, but if you want a quick, no cost solution, you can try this:

- create a batch file that will copy your files. If you want the entire drive, use the command

xcopy c:\. /E /C d:\

- use Command Scheduler in My Computer, or the AT service, to schedule the batch file daily, hourly, or whatever interval you need.
