NT4.0 Hangs during startup

OS: NT4.0 S/P4
CPU/Ram: PII - 200MHz? & 80Meg Ram

Windows NT4 workstation hangs during startup at the same point each time:

OS Loader V4.00
.
press spacebar NOW to invoke last etc....

Don't know what to do. I'm running it on a Toshiba Satellite laptop - last thing I did before this happened was to use the reset button in the side of the laptop.

Any ideas as how to remedy this situation would be sweet.

Have you tried pressing the spacebar to invoke last known good config (or whatever)? Have you tried VGA mode?

Yeh tried the spacebar and VGA mode - but no difference....is it worth reloading NT on my computer?? Any ideas?
