I am trying to restrict the ports that the NT Workstation client uses when it queries a DNS server. Currently NT4 workstation uses a dynamic UDP port when querying the DNS server. For security reasons I want to restrict this to preferably a single port or a range of UDP ports for the query going out. This is so that I can enable the TCP/UDP security on the workstation to only allow certain ports in. Unfortunealty this feature is not dynamic in NT4. Upgrading to W2K is NOT an option at this point. I have looked in all the Microsoft resources - Technet, Resource kit etc.
