I've just attached a USB CD Writer to NT Server 4 and can't get it to find the drive. What am I doing wrong?

Do i need to start the device or something? If so, what's it called?

Thanks
Dean

I'm sorry to inform you that there is no and will never be usb support in NT4 (only in a few laptop computers and even then very limited). External drives only work with SCSI or Parallel port interfaces in NT4.

I found a software on a website who allows to use the USB port with NT4...
https://secure.gotech.net/bsquare/gocart.cfm but it costs US$79...
