Reply: (edit)Who knows.. a few remote thoughts... RAM may be faiing? Drivers OK? Drive (especially c: partition) overly fragmented? Drive is OK itself - run scandisk/chkdsk? A google (or similar) search may bring up a few ideas? Servers often benefit from a regular reboot and defrag..?

Reply: (edit)Also clean out any junk files (temp folder) and if this server ever makes a web (www) connection - clean out any temp internet files. (And even if doesn't since it is LAN participant...) run a full virus scan - once you do get it to boot OK; similary look for/clean out spyware/malware etc...?
