Hello list. I’m getting ready to build a dual boot NT4 Server/Win2K Server using an old PII workstation and a new 60GB hard drive. Does anyone know of a way to install NT4 >>>without<<< having to make the C: drive a small FAT16 volume? I’d like to keep this exercise as real life, and thus secure, as possible. Many thanks. JB.

Depends on what you consider "small". If 4gig is "small" to you there is a way around it. See here http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/13922/Windows_13922.html
Do NOT exceed 7.8gig or your risk the ntfs/bios boot bug that will leave you with a nonbooting NT system.
Your BIGGEST consideration is that you have to remember that you have to update NT to sp4 or better before installing W2K. W2K will automaticly update the ntfs file system of NT to ver5. If you don't update you won't be able to access NT after the W2k install
