NT4 Server with SCSI Cd-Rom

Comment:
I try to install NT4 Server on a raid5 system (with SCSI Cd-Rom attached to the Raid Controller). NT recognize my Raid controller (IBM 4H) but it doesn't find my CD-ROM drive... So, it can't be installed.

First the workaround if you are in time shortage Map a networkdrive to a CD-rom on an other machine. Take a boot floppy with network protocol and use the cd-rom from an other machine in your network.
check ID's, try to connect on secondairy scsi controller, this is a hardone if you are not behind the machine.

very surprising that NT recognized the raid, it usually doesn't detect anything, you have to download the drivers and do that F8, or whatever, to load them at install.
