Comment:

Anyone know what device controls connecting to network printers, and allows viewing of the network.

This all did work at one time, saw all computers/printers on network, and they saw the server. Now it does not.

An amature attempt at closing down some of the open ports on this server, turned off some of the devices, and a few of the network service. Of course this was not documented at all, so what a normal setup looks like is not known.

This is a small network, that does not use IIS or anything other than file serving and proxy control to the internet. Which all works fine, they just can not see any of the drives that are on the server.

TIA
