I am missing the run command option under the start menu in nt 4.0 workstation. Does anyone know how to edit the registry in order to replace the run prompt. Thanks.

Hi there,

Make sure you have all the rights in the system policy editor. Is this machine stand alone or connecting to a server?

Hope this helps..

This machine is NT WORKSTATION, STANDALONE. I am not sure where the SYSTEM POLICY EDITOR would be in NT WORKSTATION, i was hoping there is something in the registry that I can edit to get the RUN prompt back. Thanks
