Comment:

I have a mixed environment with an NT4 Server and XP clients. As the users start printing to the different network printers the spooler service sticks and the server slows down. I stop the spooler service and restart, problem goes away until they start printing again. I checked the page file settings and relocated the spool file to a different folder. Any idea?

Is your server the PII machine? And you're using it as a print server and a Domain Controller?

You really should have a faster machine for a server..
