Nt Server service failure

I have a Windows Nt server and cannot start the server service. I get the error message "error 1130. Not enough server staorage to process this command ". My PC has 256 RAM and 3 partions of 3 GB each with about 2GB free. Please Help !!!!!
how much is left on the C:\ drive? That message usually means it is running out of space.

I Have 2.7 GB free on the C drive. I also have service pack 6 installed.

replace the srv.sys file to the latest one, this should about odd 312KB, the file can b extracted from i386 dump or a service pack installation should do the job.
