NT Server Rebooting Itself

My Dell PowerEdge 4300 NT Server has been rebooting itself in an incosistenet manner. It happens once every 2-3 days. I suspect either the UPS or the power supply. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks

Your server might be set to reboot after it gets a blue screen dump. It could be that you have a problem that is causing your system to blue screen and then reboot. Check the settings in the starup/shutdown tab in the system applet. Turn off the reboot option if it is on. That way if the system is doing that, it will stay that way until you get a chance to look at it yourself.

If you do suspect the UPs, there is usually a test switch on new ones....have the machine at a point where is is safe to shut down, then hit the test switch. UPs batteries when they no longer charge can induce such a problem.
But the list can also be long, anything from motherbaord to powersupply.....I have even seen SCSI drives cause a reset state.
I wish you well

I am also having a rebooting problem with NT 2000 advance server after loading PCAnywhere. It seems to be in this rebooting loop. Can anyone share an antidote for this problem without having to re-install server?
