Hi,

I am trying to install windows backoffice server 4.0. I have windows 2000 currently running on the computer, and I need to get backoffice server running on there instead. But evertime, I start the instalation, after copying files and then rebooting it says:
***STOP 0X0000007B Blah, blah, blah
INEXASABLE_BOOT_DISK

Restart and set the recovery options in the system control panel. Or the /CRASHDEBUG system start option. If this message reapears blah, blah, blah.

Can anyone give me any advice on this please?

version 4.0 was discontinued in 1999. version 4.5 is supported on W2K server.

not clear from your post which version of backoffice you are trying to install or if your 2000 install is wkst or server.

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Of course, it did not say “blah, blah, blah.”

Now I'm totally confused. I thought I was talking to Speakersrock and now I'm getting responses from Coffee Break who doesn't seem to have posted before.

Whatever, INEXASABLE was posted, which was what I was querying. The blah's were humor which was obviously wasted. It's now 4.20am in the UK so I'll look at the link tomorrow if I get a chance.

Hi there. Thanks for all the replies. Sorry I have not been able to post back...this computer died for a while as well! :(

Lol, Derek, CoffeeBreak was right in saying that the 'blah, blah, blah,' was just to represent the irrelevant rubbish in which the message I was recieving said. Also as Derek Pointed out, there is a typo in 'INEXASABLE' As CoffeBreak said it was meant to say 'INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DISK' Sorry about the confusion!

Thaks CoffeBreak, The link you provided has worked, and got me passed the message. (I did check the MS website before posting..But did not find that page!) Now I am getting another message while I am running the setup! :(:(...I am trying to sort it, but if needs-must I will start a new thread.

Thanks again for all your help and time guys :)

IN fact, it was Derek who made the observation regarding your 'humor'

"there is a typo in 'INEXASABLE"

'Typo'? - more like a translation to another language

Exact messages create less work & confusion for any potential helpers (which is generally a good idea)

Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real.

There's not much need to repost, it's darned quiet on the NT forum and your message is still right at the top of the pile.

If you have to Google for error messages the same thing applies. The more correct you make them the better your chances at finding them. You can often lose a stack of hits because of a typo.
