We run NT workstations and print to an HP 8100, when trying to print a specific range of pages in a word doc i.e and 800 page doc, and I want to print 201-400. The job spools and then dissapears from the print que without printing.

hello keith.

it might be possible that your print batches are simply too big. try breaking them up into smaller batches and see what happens. also, you might try setting your 'Transmission Retry' to a longer interval. this can be accessed by clicking on 'Configure Port' through the 'Ports' tab on your printer's property page. also, check your permissions by clicking on the 'Permissions' button located in the security tab (also on the properties page).

good luck!
