Hello All,

We are using NT Server 4.0 with SP6 and Windows 98 Clients. Profiles are working fine and so are polices via config.pol. However, we decided to try XP professional on one of ou clients. We formatted and freshly installed XP Pro. Everything went fine but I cannot find anything on remote policies. At least not anything on how to setup polices to be downloaded from the NT server on client login. NT & Windows 95/98 use poledit. XP uses gpedit.mcm. Tried this but how do you export a policy file fom XP po into the netlogon folded. What does it need to be called? NT looks for NTCONFIG.POL, Windows 9x looks for CONFIG.POL, What does XP look for? How do you make the policy file?

Also, are there any tutorials on setting roaming profiles etc fo XP Pro. Been searching the net but to no aval...

All the best!
Kao
