Happy New Year to you all and to Mike,CA! One of the computer crashed while loading netscape (got that dreadful blue screen). I tried to restart the computer, but it had problem finding NT boot load. so, then I tried to boot the computer up with NT boot disk, during this process the computer wanted to repair a SCSI driver, that it could not find. so I installed the correct driver. finally, nt log on displayed...so i tried to log on locally and with net work domain. it failed, and on the local domain, it displayed another computer's name, not its own. so, I rebooted the computer with nt boot disk and repaired all. now, i'm able to log in as a local user, but the computer runs so slow. for example if I want to open the control panel, it takes the computer about 2 to 3 minutes to open this window. this computer is pII 350 with 256mb ram, so it is quite still a fast computer. does anyone have ideas what is wrong and how i might fix this problem(s)??? thanks,
