I have a desktop file folder that I cannot get rid of. When I try to delete it...I get a file system error 1023...Does anyone know what this means and how can I get rid of the file. I have tried to get into it via the profiles. I have tried to run check disk to get rid of it...I have no idea where to go next...please help.

I had the same thing, and I gotr rid of it by installing a second copy of NT onto the disk and deleting the folder/file...

It will work!! It is the same technique used to reset security on NT file servers.

Good luck
