I drop the hard drive and when I reinstalled the HD, it's showing disk I/O error status=0001000, it's saying reinstall system32\ntoskrnl.exe I reinstalled it, and when I got to the end of the ERD it's saying that to reboot, when rebooted it said there's still error.

How far did you DROP the hard drive? couple of inches? from the desk to the floor?

If it was a drop it is usually a yes work or no work issue. I don't think your mishap is the cause of your issue.

Things to check; exactly in the same system same cable connection same everything. If not then what is different. Bios sees the drive as before? Nothing else has changed except take the drive out and put back? Why did you take the drive out?
