NT cannot print to printserver

Hello, I have a D-Link router with printserver,VPN and an antenna for wireless connections.
I attached my usb laserprinter to the router, and I can print to it from windows XP without a problem. However, I also have a few windows NT computers in the network, but there is no software available for windows NT to install the printserver. I can install the printer, but I can't change the port to the correct option to point it to the printserver (I need PRMate or somthing but it isn't available). does anybody know a solution to this? I was thinking of sharing the printer in windows XP, and then install the printer as a networkprinter, but that's a bit stupid if it would be possible to print directly to the printserver.

I have a dlink print server. It came with a cd containing software to setup lpr/tcp ip printing. It was the only way to get 98/me/nt to print to it. Works like a charm.
