I am trying to connect a Zip drive to a system running NT 4.0. When the "Loader" screen appears, I can see and hear the sound and cd-rom drivers loading. Immediately after that, the system loads the zip drive driver and I get the "Blue Screen of Death". I tried Iomega's chatline but the best they could offer was trying to re-install their software.

My serial mouse is on COM 1 and the modem is on COM 2. The sound card is set to IRQ 5. The LPT1 has IRQ 7.

Any ideas?

have you got the lastest version of the iomega drivers / software for NT?

If you don't, uninstall what you have and reinstall with the newest version.

If you haven't tried and full uninstall and reinstall of the software and drivers, try that.
