I work at a casino, and have a user name and password, but only have read access. For the last year I was able to use IE explorer for browsing the web. Another employee was caught, and now they have made it so when ever I bring up IE it has no connection to the internet. But I can use MS Messenger, to talk to friends, so I know it sill has a connection. Can anyone help me get IE reconcected? Also when I ty to run "Internet set up wizard" It says I do not have proper priveliges. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I all likely-hood, they've blanked out the proxy settings in the connection properties. You could try 'checking' the Detect Settings Automatically check box, but I find this often doesn't work at all. Unless someone tells you the IP address of your proxy server, I afraid there's no way around this problem.
