NT 4.0 doesn't recognize 40 GB HDD

40 GB HDD was split as 2 GB Dos partition and the remaining was left unpartitioned.
After completely installing NT, the disk administrator showed only 8GB of HDD.
The same HDD, on installing Windows 2000 Professional showed correctly, the remaining unpartitioned space.
As John Savill advises - SP4 (or later) will do the trick.

The reason you see the rest in Win2k because win2k support fat32. And as they said SP4 to Sp6a will fix it, but still you may have some problem.. Let us know
