Lady friend has Toshiba notebook running NT 4.0 that will not boot. Message indicates file "system 32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt". Please advise of resolution procedure.

What changed before this happened? New install? disk error?

Start the NT install from either nt disks or the cd. Choose recovery.
