Hi, Are you get the Installation CD?this CD contain Service Package 3, you can install this Service in the control panel, and you can create a new boot disk. Regards, Good luck.

...If you boot up in dos with cd rom support or win95 put the cd in and type winnt, the first step is making the boot disk. It even makes them in reverse order so you just reboot and begin installing. If you just want to make the disks, type winnt /? for all the options.

just put in the NT cd and type in ms dos or in the run box, X:\i386\winnt /ox, the x stands for your cd rom drive. I386 is your source file in the cd and the ox command is to make the boot disk with out the whole install.
Summary: why? because the server was free... server was in production last week. compaq proliant 1500 scsi array p166 win nt 4.0 booting from nt install disk, set up goes fine, but it does not find the cd dri...
