My desktop is a WIN98 client connected to an NT network. HP3100 laserjet is connected to the LAN as a shared printer. Other NT clients are able to print to the HP printer except the WIN98 client. The local HP support said this printer has limitation and cannot support communication between WIN98 client and NT network printer. I found it strange as I thought a mixed client like mine would be quite a common set-up. Appreciate if anyone can give insight.
