Hello, can anybody help ??
Starting last week, after years of correct connections, it is no longer
possible to send any information on the NT Server machine towards the
internet. What could be the cause ??Hard-/software :
- NT Server 4.0 NL
- Service Pack 6 NL
- dialup via ISDN to ISP (payed prof. account Via_networks Netherlands)
- Outlook Express 6.0
- Internet Explorer 6.0Correect working of :
- IE 6 internet connection
- OE 6 incoming e-mail of any length
- OE6 outgoing email less than 1kbNot working:
- IE 6 Webmail outgoing more than 1 kb
- OE 6 outgoing e-mail more than 1 kb
- FTP more than 1 kb
The notifivcation 'ISP Server didnot respond for 60 seconds'On a standalone machine with the same dialup account everything works
correctly.
The same configuration on another NT Server is still running great.
Does any one know what has happend here ? There is no firewall installed,
and Wingate internet-sharing has been removed. Also Norman Viruscontrol has
been removed. PC is re-started.In what condition an internetconnection can prohibit outgoring information
greater than 1 kb ???Many thanks in advance for your interest,
Eric Renson
